The story of Southview Senior Communities began in 1966 when Harry and Pearl Lemieux purchased Southview Acres Health Care Center in West St. Paul. In the decades since, the Lemieux family has continued to improve and expand their senior care services, benefitting thousands of residents and their families throughout Minneapolis-St. Paul.

A Local Legacy Built Across Generations

In 2003, Harry and Pearl’s grandson, Lance Lemieux, wanted to serve the younger and more independent generation of seniors. He recognized that there were many seniors who didn’t require the level of specialized care provided by his grandparents’ care center, but would benefit immensely from a caring community with professional medical and other staff members on site.

By 2005, Lance welcomed the first residents to Southview Senior Living in West St. Paul, just a few feet from Southview Acres. To this day, Lance continues his family’s legacy of enhanced service at all our locations across the Metro.
