A Family Providing Care to Seniors for Generations

The Lemieux family began caring for seniors in 1966 when Harry and Pearl Lemieux purchased Southview Acres Health Care Center, a 71-bed nursing facility. Through the years, Harry, Pearl, their children, and grandchildren continued to provide the highest quality of care, always looking for ways to expand and improve their services and to reach more seniors.

In 2003, Lance Lemieux, grandson of Harry and Pearl, began plans to serve a new, younger, and more independent group of seniors. By 2005, Lance’s new Southview Senior Living in West St. Paul welcomed its first guests, just a few feet from his grandparents' original care center. Southview Senior Living’s staff is dedicated to providing individuals the living arrangements that fit their unique needs, whether independent living, assisted living, or memory care.

The Lemieuxs continue their tradition of high quality service at Inver Glen Senior Living, a new senior housing project in Inver Grove Heights. This new facility not only cares for seniors, but for children and the environment.

Inver Glen is a “green” facility (applying for LEED® Certification), dedicated to the health of the environment and the health of everyone living and working there. In addition, Inver Glen will house "All Seasons Preschool," a progressive inter-generational school offering a model early learning environment. The school’s mission is to combine the wisdom and patience of the older generation with the energy and vitality of young children. We believe that quality of life is enhanced when all generations can live and work together.
